Lead Pipes?

Baltimore City DPW wants to know the material of your water service line in order to to complete a report for the US Environmental Protection Agency, due October 16, 2024.

To test your service line:

1. Find your service line, a coin or key, and magnet.

2. Use the key or coin to scrape the service line pipe. Note the color that is revealed.

3. Place the magnet against the pipe. Note if the magnet sticks.

4. Report your results at the link below.
