Meet Councilman Mark Conway
experienced leadership IN the fourth
Mark Conway represents the Fourth District on the Baltimore City Council and chairs the Public Safety and Government Operations Committee. An experienced public servant and community leader, he serves as Vice President of the Chesapeake Conservancy, a non-profit that focuses on protecting the Chesapeake ecosystem. In addition to his chairmanship, he is honored to serve on the Economic and Community Development; Health, Environment, and Technology; and Rules and Legislative Oversight Committees. Mark also uses his power as councilman to fight to address the racial and socio-economic divides that our city and district struggle to resolve. Before becoming our councilman, Mark worked to improve transparency and accountability as Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of CitiStat.
Mark is the son of dedicated public employees and proud union members. He and his wife, Sarah, are excited to raise their family here in our community.
